I’m about to hop in the car to visit Mindy & Mark up in New Jersey, realized I don’t exactly remember how to get there, and actually had this serious thought of, “Oh, I should just look up that GPS picture.” …because googling directions is such a pain?
I proceeded to write reverse directions….on my hand.
At least it’s an environmentally friendly method.
Off I go.

I spent this past week in NY and NJ…I saw the ocean this morning for the first time in a year.
It was cold and windy, but undoubtedly worth it. I think its probably not healthy to go that long without seeing the ocean.
Thanks to everyone who tuned into my show at Arlene’s Grocery on Tuesday evening. The weather kept a lot of folks indoors, but according to the reports, lots of you were listening in…I hope you stayed warm and cozy, thanks for listening! Arlene’s definitely has an awesome vibe…do check it out.
I’ll be back in NY next week on Friday the 22nd at Kenny’s Castaways. Hopefully the weather will be a little more music-friendly this time around.
Until then, I’m holding down the fort here in DC, and I am going to go get a bowl of frosted mini wheats.
